What's it all about?

Calling all kids in Grades 3–6! Get ready to build, code, and create in this exciting NEW Junior Robotics workshop.

How would you like to turn your next LEGO® creation into a robot, programmed to do exactly what you tell it to do?

This new workshop offers all the fun of building with LEGO® bricks, plus the challenge of computer programming. Using drag-and-drop, icon-based WeDo® software, children will get a fun introduction to the world of coding and robotics, equipping them with essential skills for a tech-driven future.

With a strong focus on STEM learning, this session encourages problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork. As they code their creations to move, spin, or react, children gain confidence in both their creative and technical abilities.

Whether your child is curious about coding or already has a passion for all things tech, this workshop is a great opportunity to dive deeper into the world of robotics - all while having a blast with bricks!

Who will be teaching?

The BRICKS 4 KIDZ® model was founded by Michelle Cote in St. Augustine, Florida. In the spring of 2008, Michelle began by offering an after-school Spanish class. At the same time, inspired by her son’s love for LEGO®, she decided to trial a creative science-based LEGO® workshop. While only three children enrolled in the Spanish class, an impressive 35 signed up for the LEGO® workshop – and the BRICKS 4 KIDZ® journey began.

Since then, BRICKS 4 KIDZ® has grown to over 750 locations in 45 countries. The organisation is proudly a Child Safe, Child Friendly provider, with the safety and wellbeing of children as its top priority.

BRICKS 4 KIDZ® Melbourne Northern Suburbs operates as an entrepreneurial team with experienced leadership and a clear mission: to become the preferred external provider of STEM education for students and schools.

The team is deeply passionate about children’s learning, fostering Australia’s future as a nation of builders, and delivering consistently excellent experiences for both children and parents.
