Bendy Buddies - School Holidays Fun at WNH

What's it all about?

Join Sarah from Shanti Studio for Bendy Buddies Yoga – a joyful and imaginative 30-minute yoga adventure designed especially for little yogis aged 2 to 5 years (maximum 5 participants).

Children are invited to a cosy and creative Winter Tea Party, where yoga, play, and relaxation come together in a warm, welcoming space.

Little ones are encouraged to come dressed in their favourite costume as we journey through a playful yoga flow inspired by the magic of sharing tea. Along the way, we’ll strike poses that whisk us through baking a cake, pouring tea, and gathering around the table.

Using movement and imagination, children will explore how to mindfully fill their own cups with kindness, and warm their bodies with gentle breathwork. The session ends with a calming mat meditation, leaving everyone relaxed and smiling.

Bendy Buddies Yoga is best suited for preschoolers aged 2 - 5 years who are supported by a parent or carer.

Who will be teaching?

Sarah will be teaching this class.

After moving back to the Macedon Ranges in 2016, the opportunity to practice Yoga, on a personal level, unfolded for Sarah. Having passionately practiced Pilates for years, Sarah embraced the mat and Yoga teachings with a new curiosity, and quickly found that it offered a unique and calming practice, whilst providing a beautiful sense of coming home.

In 2021, having worked in the health industry for 14 years, Sarah completed the 200hr 'Teaching Training: Beginning Level' though the Integral Yoga Academy, as she felt there is much to gain from regularly practicing such a holistic offering. Sarah has since completed the Level 1 Kids Yoga Training with Yoga Kids Training Academy, with much appreciation for the fun and creativity such practice invites.

Now affiliated with Yoga Australia, Sarah is honoured to share space and passion for a practice she believes can strengthen and inspire the mind, body and soul.

Additional Information

Bendy Buddies will run for 30 minutes on Tuesday 15th July between 9.30am - 10am. The cost for this activity is $10 per participant.
