An introduction to Shopify and Wix

This two-hour workshop will be an introduction to the Shopify and Wix platforms for beginners.

Shopify topics covered are:

• Understanding the basics of e-commerce
• Introduction to Shopify and its key features
• Setting up a Shopify store
• Choosing a theme that works for your needs and your business
• Adding products
• Managing orders and customers
• Apps & SEO

Wix topics covered are:

• Introduction to Wix
• Setting up a Wix account and exploring the Wix dashboard
• Choosing a template
• Adding content and customising your template
• Managing pages and navigation
• Formatting and optimising your mobile site
• Wix SEO, tools and apps

This course will be delivered by Karlie Plowman from Techno Bird.

To help you get the most out of the workshop, places are limited to 8 participants. Please bring a laptop or other device along if possible.
