The Fire Danger Period for Macedon Ranges Shire started at 1am on Monday 17 November until further notice. During this time, no fire may be lit in the open air without a permit.

This project was initiated to address a flooding concern at the court bowl in Glenns Court, Woodend.
When there is a down pour, a significant amount of water enters the properties via their driveways.
The drainage mitigation works involved upgrading underground drainage, reshaping the road surface, kerb and channel, table drains and improvements to the property driveways to redirect surface flows away from properties onto the table drains in the road reserve.
The works commenced at the beginning of June 2025 and were completed on 15 October 2025.
The project was funded by Council's Capital Works Program 2025-26.
