Woodend, Anslow Street and Wood Street - New footpath works

A new 1.5‑metre‑wide plain concrete footpath will be constructed along the southern side of Anslow Street, commencing at the intersection of Anslow Street and Pyke Street. The footpath will extend in a south‑easterly direction toward Wood Street, then turn right and continue south along the western side of Wood Street, ending at the intersection of Wood Street and Urquhart Street.

The works include construction of a new concrete footpath to create a safer and more accessible walking route for the community.

These works are funded by the 2025–26 Capital Works Program.

Works are scheduled to start at the end of May 2026 and are expected to be completed by mid-June 2026.

Minor delays are expected during construction. Please allow extra time when travelling in the area and follow all traffic management and signage in place.
