The new footpath on Rochford Road has been identified as a priority link in Council's Shire wide footpath plan. The works involve constructing approximately 145 metres of 1.5 m wide concrete path, along the western side of Rochford Road, extending from Robertson Drive to the existing school crossing in front of Newham CFA. The new footpath will provide improved pedestrian access for local residents and school children.
Footpath construction has now been completed.
This project was fully funded by Council as part of the 2025–26 Capital Works Program.
