Malmsbury, Malmsbury Botanical Gardens - Drainage

The project was located in the Malmsbury Botanic Gardens.

The project was undertaken to fix the drainage issues in the waterlogged areas in the gardens, and improve the drainage outlet from the basin inside the Botanic Gardens. 

The project included: 

  • Installation of culvert crossings at the waterlogged area on the path for improved drainage and pedestrian safety.  
  • Reshaping of swale drain for drainage improvements.  
  • Installation of culverts at outlet for improved discharge from the basin. 

These works were funded under the Council’s Capital Works program 2024-25. 

We would like to thank residents, businesses and road users for their patience as works were being completed.
