Anzac Day services will be held in towns throughout the shire on Saturday 25 April. There will also be some changes to normal weekend opening hours at some facilities.

As part of the October 2023 flood recovery program, the North Central Catchment Management Authority (NCCMA) partnered with Council to undertake removal of Weeds of National Significance such as Willow, Blackberry and Gorse along the Campaspe River and Post Office Creek in and around Kyneton.
With works now complete, the program focused on preventing further decline of the waterway and reducing the potential for flooding of residential areas by removing woody weeds – predominantly Willows.
Works included revegetation stabilisation works to reduce erosion and enhance the river and creek’s natural values, and improved water quality and supply.
