Clarkefield, Sutherlands Road - Road Reconstruction

The rehabilitation of Sutherlands Road, Clarkefield - from Melbourne-Lancefield Road intersection for a distance of 1.1km towards Riddells Creek - includes the following:

  • 1.1km of road rehabilitation from Melbourne-Lancefield Road intersection
  • Roadside drainage improvements

These works are funded by the 2023/24 Capital Works Program.

The works are now underway with a view to completing the project by the end of May 2024, weather depending.

Sutherlands Road is closed from Melbourne Lancefield Road intersection to Ames Road and detours are in place on Sutherlands Road and the surrounding roads to complete work safely and efficiently.

Minor delays are expected during the works. Please allow extra time if travelling in the area.
