Baynton, Mission Hill Road - Bridge and major culvert upgrades

The Mission Hill Road culvert is located over Black Creek, Baynton, 6.84km from the Burke & Wills Track intersection.

The project included:

  • replacement of existing culvert with single 2.4m wide and 2.4m high box culverts
  • works upstream and downstream to prevent erosion and improve the waterway
  • new guard rails and signs for road users safety
  • road repairs and sealing.

These works were funded by Local Road and Community Infrastructure Program Phase 4 and Macedon Ranges Shire Council.

The project commenced in the week of the 29 January 2024, and was completed on 22nd March 2024.

We would like to thank residents, businesses and road users for their patience as works were being completed.
