Baynton, Martins Road - Bridge and major culvert upgrades

The Martins Road culvert is located over Todds Creek, Baynton, 1km east of the Feeneys Lane intersection.  

This project includes:

  • replacement of existing culvert with double 2.1m wide and 1.8m high box culverts
  • works upstream and downstream to prevent erosion and improve the waterway
  • new guard rails and signs for road users safety
  • road repairs and drainage improvements.

These works are funded by the Local Road and Community Infrastructure Program Phase 4.

The works have been awarded and commenced Monday 4 March 2024 and are expected to be completed by the end of April 2024, weather permitting. 

Road closures and detours will be in place during the works. Please allow extra time if travelling in the area.
