Lost pets register

If your lost animal is listed below, call Council on (03) 5422 0333 (available 24/7) and quote the impound ID listed below.

Council will arrange an appointment to collect your animal(s). We will confirm the pick-up time and location.

Please note: the pound is open by appointment only. You will be unable to collect your animals without an appointment.

You will need to provide proof of ownership and pay any applicable fees (release fee and/or registration fee) at the time of collection.

Please note, this register is not updated in real time. If we collect a lost pet, we’ll make every effort to contact the owner immediately and reunite them as quickly as possible. If we’re unable to make contact, the pet will be added to this register on the next available business day.

If you have lost your dog or cat and it's not listed on this page, call us on (03) 5422 0333 so we can record details about your pet and your name and contact details. This information helps us identify your pet and reunite it with you as quickly as possible.
