Tylden, Clowes St - Raised Safety Platform and Footpath Construction

The existing at-grade school crossing fronting Tylden Primary School in Clowes Street, Tylden will be upgraded to a raised safety platform to improve pedestrian safety. The project also includes the construction of new concrete footpaths connecting the raised safety platform to the existing local footpath network.

The project scope includes:

  • Replacing the existing at-grade school crossing with a new raised safety platform.
  • Replacing the existing gravel footpath (southside) with a new concrete footpath up to the bus stop on Trentham Road.

These works are funded by State Government's Safer Local Roads and Streets Program (SLRSP).

The project has been awarded and planned to be delivered during the 2026 September School holidays.

Minor delays are expected during the works. Please allow extra time when travelling in the area.
