Darraweit Guim, Darraweit Valley Road - bridge design/investigation

The Darraweit Valley Bridge is located over Deep Creek on Darraweit Valley Road, Darraweit Guim, 1.4km from Romsey Road intersection.

Resurfacing of the bridge and repairs to the north abutment are now complete. We would like to thank residents, businesses and road users for their patience as works were being completed.

Council has recently awarded the contract for foundation erosion control works to Waratah Constructions. The works are scheduled to commence in late February 2026 and are expected to be completed by April 2026.

Upon completion of these works, Council officers will consult with the local community to discuss potential future management strategies for the bridge.

These works are funded by the 2025-26 Capital Works Program.
