Fraud & Corruption Control Policy and Framework

The purpose of this Policy is to outline Council’s commitment to a comprehensive and systematic approach to preventing, detecting and responding to fraud or corruption. 

The purpose of this Framework is to prevent, reduce or eliminate any actual or potential fraudulent and corrupt behaviours within Council operations. The document applies to all Macedon Ranges Shire Councillors, employees, volunteers, contractors and agents. The procedures outlined set out the structure and process for implementing and reviewing fraud and corruption control measures.
