At its Ordinary Council Meeting last night, Macedon Ranges Shire Council resolved to apply to Sport and Recreation Victoria for $650,000 for a new regional netball complex in Gisborne, and to proceed with the development of a Joint Usage Agreement for a new stadium at Gisborne Secondary College.
At its Ordinary Council Meeting last night, Council resolved to purchase the former Romsey Primary School site for an all abilities children’s park, which it intends to fund from the sale of Council-owned land in Romsey.
Due to unforseen maintenance issues relating to the pool filtration system the Gisborne Aquatic Centre will be closed on Thursday 23 May and will reopen to the public at 6am on Friday morning.

The Macedon Ranges Emergency Facebook page supports community preparedness, relief and recovery from emergencies and hazards in the region, such as bushfires, heatwaves or floods.
This review aims to ensure that the standards and priorities given to the inspection, maintenance and repair of the roads to which Council's Road Management Plan applies are safe, efficient and appropriate for use by the Macedon Ranges community.
