Macedon Ranges Suicide Prevention Action Group (MRSPAG) will host a gathering and walk in recognition of World Suicide Prevention Day at Woodend Children's Park from 8.30am - on Sunday 13 September. At 10am, there will be a short, guided walk around Woodend, followed by a barbeque on our return to the park.
By coming together in our Community Walk, we aim to de-stigmatise suicide and show that no one need be alone in their thoughts. We show support for each other as a community. We demonstrate our willingness to empathetically listen to each other as we navigate the peaks and valleys of life. We honour those whom we have lost, remembering that a person’s life is not defined by how they passed. We move forward as one.
