We are always advocating for a range of priorities that matter to our community, as outlined in our Advocacy Priority Prospectus.
Ahead of the Victorian State Election in November, we’re focusing on the following priority projects where we are seeking funding and support.
The following election commitments have been announced that relate directly to Macedon Ranges Shire Council or our community.

$179,000 in funding for pedestrian safety improvements at Romsey Road and High Street, Woodend, including relocation of the pedestrian crossing, new footpaths and pedestrian fencing.
Remove DPO24 within the first 100 days of government if elected, enabling development of affected land and supporting delivery of up to 300 homes in Lancefield.
Will return planning decisions for the proposed housing development at Clarkefield to Macedon Ranges Shire Council.

Macedon Ranges Shire is represented by the Macedon electorate.
