Hobbs Road Bushland Reserve is highly valued as an ecologically diverse location that supports flora species of state significance.

Biodiversity at Hobbs Road Bushland Reserve is actively managed to conserve and enhance its values and to provide resilience to the vegetation communities present.

Through successful rehabilitation and revegetation, the old tip site at Hobbs Road has been transformed and contributes to biodiversity values present at the reserve. 

Hobbs Road Bushland Reserve provides passive recreational and tourism opportunities for photography, bird watching, naturalists and students.
