On Monday 27 July 2026, an AusAlert test message will be sent to all compatible mobile devices in Australia. It will sound and vibrate for around 10 seconds, even if your phone is on silent or Do Not Disturb. If this could disrupt you or cause you or a loved one to feel unsafe, plan ahead by turning your device off, or switch to aeroplane mode, and leave it off for at least 1 hour.

Council’s Skate and BMX Strategy focuses on providing skate and BMX facilities that best meets the unique demographic and physical distribution of population centres across the Macedon Ranges.
The strategy’s implementation plan calls for an equitable distribution of facilities to replace aging structures and complement existing high-quality facilities. This ensures everyone who skates or rides in the Shire has appropriate opportunities to enjoy their chosen pursuit across the municipality.
As part of Council’s annual budget process, the strategy’s implementation plan will be reviewed and actions implemented as resources become available.
