The Fire Danger Period for Macedon Ranges Shire started at 1am on Monday 17 November until further notice. During this time, no fire may be lit in the open air without a permit.

Wyralla Reserve was officially opened on Saturday 22 April 2023, with a ceremony that honoured the community's commitment and involvement in creating a local park for public enjoyment.
The reserve features play equipment, picnic tables, landscaped pathways, and seating made from timber and rock.
Notably, an existing patch of indigenous grasses on the site was carefully preserved throughout the park's development.
