Romsey Ecotherapy Park

The Romsey Ecotherapy Park offers a truly unique nature based play experience for people of all ages and abilities to seek wellness, connection and to play.

Constructed over three stages, the park is the result of a community-led initiative by the Romsey Ecotherapy Park Inc. Committee to build an inviting and accessible recreational open space for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy a unique sensory and therapeutic experience through engagement with nature.

The play space is free and open to the public all year.

The play space can be accessed from Main Street, Palmer Street and Williams Street.

Romsey Ecotherapy Park was awarded 'Park of the Year' at Parks and Leisure Australia's (PLA) Vic/Tas Regional Awards of Excellence held on 9 June 2023.

Park features

The park consists of an active nature space with a cubby house and nature-based play elements, a climbing forest, a ropes course, lookouts and a climbing net.

It also includes an events space with picnic and barbecue facilities, an area showcasing several artistic features, a sensory garden, a ‘woodland ramble’, a hut-building frame and on-street parking to make it easy to access the park.
