Mobility access
The Bluestone Theatre currently has limited capacity to support patrons using wheelchairs, prams or who require mobility assistance.
Entry to the venue from Hutton Street includes a small flight of stairs and a lip at the entrance to the building. Mobility access is via the carpark at the rear of the venue (entry from Yaldwyn Street West). There is one accessible parking spot in this carpark.
Backstage access from the carpark is not currently accessible for performers or crew using a wheelchair. Stage access from both the backstage area and the main auditorium is via stairs only.
Deaf or Hard of Hearing access
This venue is not currently equipped with a hearing loop or similar hearing assistance system and is unable to support closed captions for live performance.
Blind or vision impaired access
There are no specific access supports at this venue for patrons who are blind or have low vision. Please note that external lighting at the venue is limited, due to its proximity to residential areas.
Bathroom access
Bathrooms are external to the venue and accessed via a concrete path around the back of the building. This path runs along the edge of the carpark area. The bathrooms have limited accessibility features and may not be suitable for patrons using a wheelchair.
There are additional public bathrooms located nearby in the Kyneton Town Hall carpark. These bathrooms have recently been renovated and are fully accessible.
