Woodend Children's Park - Footpath Renewal

Council is delivering shared user path renewal works within Woodend Children's Park and along Nicholson Street, Woodend.

As part of the project, sections of the existing shared user path network will be removed and replaced with new 2-metre-wide shared user paths constructed to current standards. The new paths will improve connections between the bridge, walking platform and viewing platform within the park.

These upgrades will improve accessibility, connectivity and user experience within the park, while supporting safer and more reliable access for pedestrians and cyclists.

The works are funded through Council's Capital Works Renewal Program 2026/27.

The project is currently in the planning phase and construction dates will be published once the works have been awarded.

Minor disruptions to park users and visitors are expected during the works. Please follow onsite signage and directions while works are underway.
