A section of Ferrier Road, New Gisborne will be temporarily closed due to works to rebuild the road surface.
The developer for this proposal, Gemlife, has engaged Prendergast Earthmoving to complete road widening and resurfacing in this section.
Temporary road closures will be required during the length of these works. A Traffic Management Plan including detour signage can be found below.
These works are expected to take place from 12 October 2026 and last for approximately 12 weeks. The road will be made open to the public during the Christmas shutdown period.
