Lancefield, Boundary Road - Road reconstruction works

A section of Boundary Road, located west of the Melbourne–Lancefield Road and Boundary Road intersection between Lancefield and Romsey, will be widened and upgraded.

Project scope includes:

  • Widening and reconstructing approximately 990 metres of the existing 3.5 m-wide road to a 7.6 m-wide carriageway.
  • Roadside drainage improvements.
  • Installation of improved roadside signage as required.

Works are expected to start in late February 2026 and are expected to be completed by late April 2026, weather permitting. Traffic management will be in place for the duration of the works.

These works are funded through the Australian Government’s Roads to Recovery Program and are being delivered as part of Council’s 2025-26 Capital Works Program.
