Gisborne - Rosalia Estate

This page provides updates on works relating to the Rosalia Estate, near Ross Watt Road and Swinburne Avenue, Gisborne (see 89 Ross Watt Road Development Plan).

The developer for this proposal, ID_Land, has engaged Winslow Constructors to complete civil works as part of the development. Both the developer and the civil contractor are providing direct communications to nearby residents throughout the process.

Upcoming traffic changes that Council have been notified of, as part of these works, include:

• 13 January - 20 January 2026: Cherry Lane closure at Swinburne Avenue, with one lane closure for section Swinburne Avenue and Skyline Drive
• 20 January - 23 January 2026: Swinburne Avenue closure, with one lane closure for Skyline Drive and Cherry Lane
• 23 January 2026: Swinburne Avenue closure, with the lane closure along Skyline Drive and Cherry Lane removed
• 28 January 2026: Current barrier setup at Ross Watt Road/Swinburne Avenue intersection scheduled to be removed
• 2 February - 16 February 2026: Lane closures at Swinburne Avenue and Ross Watt Road
