Romsey Soccer Oval Expansion

The Macedon Rangers Soccer Club was formed in 2019 and is expected to continue to grow, as such the provision of fit-for-purpose soccer facilities in Romsey is needed.

This project will undertake the necessary planning and designs for oval playing surface expansion and new LED sports field lighting at Romsey Park Community Oval to support the ongoing use of this site for soccer activities.

 Detailed design scope includes:

  • Expansion of the existing Romsey Park Community Oval playing surface to enable a full-size soccer pitch
  • Formalise and extend the existing car park (80 spaces), and extend the path to the west side with 2 x shelters with concrete bases
  • New soccer goal storage compound
  • Oval perimeter fence re-alignment
  • Installation of 150lux LED sports field lighting
