The Woodend Racecourse Reserve provides residents and visitors with a diverse range of formal and informal recreational opportunities and occupies a central location within the Woodend township. Beyond its recreational role, the reserve also holds significant environmental and heritage values.
The Woodend Racecourse Reserve Master Plan has been developed to present a clear, planned and staged vision for the future of the site. It is informed by a comprehensive review of existing facilities and spaces, together with engagement with user groups, local residents and key stakeholders.
Endorsed by Council on 25 March 2026, the Master Plan will guide the future development and management of the reserve, ensuring it continues to meet community needs.
