Our customer service centres in Gisborne, Kyneton and Romsey will be closed from 12pm on Friday 17 July to allow our Customer Service team to participate in a staff development session. A three acre parcel of land within the Gisborne Fields Estate located at the intersection of Tovey Drive, Coop Drive and Rothschild Road in Gisborne will be transformed into a park for the local community.
The landscape plan(PDF, 1MB) will guide the park's development, with future stages progressing based on a range of funding sources.
The plan outlines a proposed eight stage development, offering flexibility for the stages to be delivered in smaller phases.
This phased approach will support residents and local community groups in seeking grants and other funding to deliver specific features such as drinking taps, additional playground equipment, seating, and shelters.
