This policy outlines how to manage water safety, including safety during any water-based activities at Council's Early Years Services.

This policy will provide clear guidelines to promote that children attending a Council Early Years Service are:

• kept safe while travelling as pedestrians, cyclists or passengers in a vehicle to/from a Council Kindergarten
• able to participate in road safety education to assist them in being and becoming safe and responsible road users.

This policy will provide clear guidelines for the implementation of safe relocation and sleep practices that meet the individual needs of children attending Council's kindergarten services.

The purpose of the policy is to ensure good governance, fairness and best practice in transparency and independence during Council elections and by-elections. The policy forms part of our Governance Rules.

This policy concerns the installation and operation of visual surveillance equipment.

Details engineering requirements associated with infrastructure construction resulting from development within the shire.

The Fair Access Policy addresses known barriers experienced by women, girls and gender diverse people in accessing and using community sports infrastructure.

It aims to progressively build the capacity and capabilities of Macedon Ranges Shire in identifying and eliminating systemic causes of gender inequality in policy, programs, communications, and delivery of services relating to community sports infrastructure.

Applies to all fees and charges that are listed in the fees and charges schedule which is published annually as part of the budget.

This policy and procedure defines whether Council will or will not contribute to fencing between Council owned or Council managed land and adjoining landowners, situations where an access gate maybe incorporated in a fence, and the processing of applications to construct, repair or replace a fence bounding Council land.

Council's Financial Hardship Policy applies to those who are suffering financial hardship or would suffer financial hardship if they paid the full amount of rates and charges or other debts.
