The centre includes a Mechanics Hall, Community Hall, 1 meeting room and commercial kitchen facilities. 

Hire costs

Gisborne Community Centre Hall

  • Social functions: $390.70 plus $772.50 bond (returnable)
  • Regular hire: $33.70 per hour 
  • Casual hire: $38.40 per hour

Gisborne Mechanics Institute Hall

  • Regular Hire: $49.20 per hour
  • Casual Hire: $54.70 per hour
  • Social Functions: $525.30 per evening plus $772.50 bond (returnable)
  • Commercial Event: $398.60 per day plus $772.50 bond (returnable)
  • Community Event: $345 per day plus $772.50 bond (returnable)

Gisborne Community Centre kitchen 

  • $75.30 per session.
  • Commercial purposes $172.40 per session plus $1,030 bond (returnable). 

Meeting rooms

  • 1 Upstairs Small Meeting room: Capacity of 5.
    • Regular hire $23.10 per hour.
    • Casual hire $27.10 per hour.
