Cycling groups

The Macedon Ranges Ride Guide showcases a variety of road, gravel and mountain rides with maps for all ages and abilities.

Woodend Bike Riding Group

Rides are mostly off the main roads and often along the tracks in the bush around Woodend. The Cycling Group is for riders of all abilities.

  • When: The group meets every Monday and Thursday morning at 10am (or 9am in summer).
  • Where: Meet at Woodend Neighbourhood House, 47 Forest Street, Woodend.

Macedon Ranges Cycling Club

The club organises group rides of varying distances every Sunday, starting from Gisborne, Woodend and Kyneton on a three weekly rotation.

There is also a group ride starting in Woodend on Thursdays, monthly gravel rides, and an annual trip to Bright.

Cobaw Social Pedallers

The group aims to build skills and confidence in beginner riders. To find out where the ride will be held, call Cobaw Community Health on (03) 5421 1666.
