Hanging Rock Strategic Advisory Committee
The Hanging Rock Strategic Advisory Committee has been appointed by Council to advise and assist on a strategic direction for the iconic Hanging Rock precinct.
Selection of the committee members was based on skills and experience in a range of areas including environment, community leadership/participation, history, archaeology, sport and recreation, financial management, economic development, tourism and events.
The Hanging Rock Strategic Advisory Committee (HRSAC) is appointed on an interim basis and is made up of volunteers with a mix of local and state-wide expertise:
- Nathan Alexander (chair)
- Peter Bishop
- Jon Dight
- Val Pollard
- Helen Relph
- Penelope Roberts
- John Williamson
- Indigenous representation
The Traditional Owners are a partner in the development of the master plan and have ongoing input into the future direction of the precinct.
