Gisborne Mechanics Institute Hall

The Gisborne Mechanics Hall is a rectangular room measuring 9m x 18m.

It has a stage and can seat patrons theatre style, or with tables. An ideal location for public meetings, performances and presentation nights. Contains a kitchenette equipped with dishwasher, microwave and small fridge. The main kitchen is located in the Gisborne Community Centre and is accessible by a covered walkway if required.

Hire fees

  • Casual hire: $48.90 per hour
  • Exhibitions/concerts: $356 plus $350 bond (returnable)
  • Chair hire: $2.60 each
  • Trestle tables: $5.65 each
