Celebrating Cultural Diversity Week

Council is proud to support Cultural Diversity Week and celebrate the value it brings to our community.

This year, in partnership with Regional Victorians of Colour, Council will host a morning tea and is inviting members of our multicultural community to come together and share their stories.

Guest speaker Sister Brigid Arthur, an advocate and fighter for the rights of some of our community's most vulnerable members, will talk about the Brigidine Asylum Seeker Project and the contribution that migrants, refugees and asylum seekers make to our community.
