Building a place where animals and humans co-exist.

Wild City is an art based workshop for children where we consider wild animals as citizens in urban spaces.

Using sculpture as a medium for creative learning, this workshop introduces children to urban ecology and the real issues that animals face in an increasingly human built world.

Children use the sculptural building blocks to collaboratively explore ideas and get hands on with making their own 'Wild City'.

The collaborative sculptural work will be displayed as a exhibition for others to explore.

About the artist

Kathy Holowko is an artist interested in the effects that urban life has upon our understanding of ecology. In busy, human centric environments, she searches for narratives and connections that can help reconsider our world as a cyclical, and shared habitat.
