The Fire Danger Period for Macedon Ranges Shire will start at 1am on Monday 17 November. During this time, no fire may be lit in the open air without a permit. Burning off restrictions still apply until then.

From Monday 17 November to Friday 5 December 2025, we've been advised that contractors will be working on a water main road crossing, and intersection upgrades and road widening works on Harts Lane near the Burton Ave intersection.
Access to Harts Lane will be restricted during this time. Please follow detour signage via Lauriston Reservoir Road.
