Council is seeking community input to help develop a Mobility and Road Safety Strategy that will guide the implementation of road safety programs within the shire.

The 10-year strategy will be based on the ‘Safe System’ approach which uses data, research, education and information to set the framework for reducing death and serious injury on our roads.

  • People of all ages and abilities can achieve optimal health and wellbeing
  • Active mobility is prioritised
  • There is equity of access and opportunity
  • Mobility protects and enhances the natural environment
  • People can access locations in a safe and timely manner
  • Everyone can share in the region’s economic vitality.
