Have your say on how we manage trees

Closing date: 24 February 2019

What do you think of our new draft Tree Management Policy, which looks at how trees will be selected, planted, cared for and managed?

The draft policy sets out Council’s principles, procedures and requirements for managing trees within the shire’s urban boundary, towns and along roadsides in speed limit zones of up to 80 kilometres per hour.

Tree protection, planting and selection, replacement, removal and pruning, and more are addressed in the new policy, which will replace the current Street Tree Policy 2008.

Copies of the draft policy(PDF, 818KB) can be viewed at Council service centres until 24 February 2019.
