Council is please to be able to offer some resources to help community members be more successful in their grant seeking.
Increase your group’s chances of success by attending a free grant writing workshop in March. Council is hosting a series of free grant writing workshops to support local organisations and groups in making applications for various funding opportunities in 2021, not just Council grants.
Local facilitator Jenny Holliday from the Non Profit Training group will lead face-to-face workshops at the Woodend Community Centre on 11 March 2021 at 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm.
All sessions are designed for volunteers with limited or no experience in writing grants. Council officers will be on hand to answer any questions to explain the annual grants guidelines, criteria and online grants application forms.
COVIDSafe measures will be in place at the centre and numbers are limited for each session so don’t miss out. Book your place today.
Session 1: Thursday 11 March 2021 2pm-4pm
Session 2: Thursday 11 March 2021 7pm-9pm
or call the Community Development Team on (03) 5422 0333.
