Temporary Full Time – 2 years from appointment
We are expanding our team! Located just 45 kilometres from Melbourne, the Macedon Ranges Shire is well known for its rural character, high quality landscape, both natural and built and the village feel of our established regional centres, towns and settlements.
In this role, you will deliver a range of high quality strategic planning services relating to the Macedon Ranges Planning Scheme. You will manage projects that create and implement Council’s strategies across the municipality such as plans for town centres and rural areas and will respond to the Macedon Ranges strategic planning needs. The Strategic Planner Amendments will have a focus on proponent led planning scheme amendments.
To be successful you will have appropriate tertiary qualifications in town planning or a related discipline and have demonstrated project management skills in managing a variety of complex projects including the preparation and implementation of structure plans, precinct structure plans, strategy plans and amendment preparation. You will possess exceptional oral and written communication skills, be experienced in community consultation and be a team player.
Interviews will be conducted on 1 October and 2 October 2020 via Zoom invitation.
