Community Connection Worker

Council's Community Support unit is seeking enthusiastic and innovative support workers to work in our Service Delivery Team.

The Service Delivery Team support older people to remain independent in their home and in the community, and assist carers in their role.

This position is responsible for working with eligible clients to support them with domestic assistance tasks, their personal care, respite and accessing the community. 

Ideally you will have a minimum of Certificate 3 in Individual Support or equivalent, or be willing to obtain and your own vehicle. You will have the ability to identify the individual’s strengths and support them to build capacity to achieve their goals that enhance independence and wellbeing. Previous experience in a similar role would be well regarded.
