Council's Environmental Events Program provides many opportunities for local residents to attend talks and participate in events and workshops.

Cobaw wildlife night spotlight

Venue: Cobaw State Forest, Cnr Ridge Road and Smiths Track, Cobaw


Join Council Environment Officers and Landcare experts for a night walk to survey for possums, gliders and night birds in the Cobaw State Forest. Please bring a torch, good shoes and dress for the weather.

Cobaw Bird Count

Join expert ornithologist, Tanya Loos, for a walk through the Cobaw State Forest to record birds. Please bring a pair of binoculars and good sturdy shoes.

Information session for new, absentee and small acreage landholers
