It's forecast to be a hot and windy weekend so the Hanging Rock Summit Walk will be closed on Saturday and Sunday. The reserve is still open and there's still lots to see and do, including a Craft Market on Saturday from 9am to 2pm.
Things to see and do at Hanging Rock
Work is underway on several environmental initiatives that focus on conserving and enhancing Hanging Rock Reserve and the East Paddock.
Hanging Rock hosts concerts, race meetings, markets, car shows and much more.
Hanging Rock is located about one hour's drive north of Melbourne, right off the Calder Freeway at Woodend.

Hanging Rock is open all year round, except Christmas Day. Entry fees apply. Annual passes available.
There's lots to see and do at the Rock, such as walks and tours, a cafe/gift shop and picnic areas, a playground, ovals, tennis courts and a racecourse.
