| Macedon Ranges Shire Council has a long standing commitment to supporting the arts and cultural development, demonstrated by a variety of programs and initiatives aimed at accessing and enhancing the Macedon Ranges Shire’s art and cultural life.
The arts and creative industries are also recognised as making a contribution to the economic sustainability of the Macedon Ranges Shire. This contribution includes the direct value of arts activities as well as the reputation and positioning of the Macedon Ranges as a desirable and vibrant region for residents, business, workers and visitors.
