Beyond Borders exhibition

Fri 3 February to Sun 2 April | 11:00AM to 4:00PM

Venue: Kyneton Museum

The Kyneton Museum is a fascinating place for the entire family to explore, with changing exhibitions throughout the year.

The Beyond Borders exhibition explores the experiences of refugees coming from Burma, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Jordan, Columbia, Iran and Somalia. Their stories are presented to us via photographs and multimedia, covering themes such as universal parenting, the longing for loved ones separated by displacement or death, and using sport to build confidence in young people.

The works are the culmination of work from a group of 40 photographers known as the Many Australian Photographers Group (MAPgroup), who share a passion for quality independent documentary photography.

Beyond Borders exhibition opening is on Thursday 16 March, 4pm at the Kyneton Museum. Free event, all welcome.
