Nominations now open for 2017 business awards

Nominations are now open for the 2017 Bendigo Bank Macedon Ranges Business Excellence Awards.

The awards are open to all businesses based in the Macedon Ranges Shire and recognises outstanding service to the community and beyond in the following categories: 

  • Excellence in Agribusiness
  • Excellence in Customer Service
  • Excellence in Health and Wellbeing
  • Excellence in Hospitality
  • Excellence in New Business
  • Excellence in Professional Services
  • Excellence in Retail
  • Excellence in Tourism
  • Excellent in Trades, Construction and Manufacturing
  • The Not for Profit/Public Sector Award
  • Trainee/Apprentice of the Year

Mayor, Cr Jennifer Anderson said that Council is proud to again partner with the Bendigo Bank for this important annual event that showcases the many contributions local business makes to the community.

“We have a variety of amazing and successful businesses in the Macedon Ranges that provide quality services and jobs that boost our local economy.

“These awards provide a chance to celebrate business excellence and innovation—whether it’s a large or small business, home-based or not-for-profit—if you know a business or individual working in a business that deserves recognition, nominate them today,” she said.

Last year’s Business of the Year winner, Kyneton District Health Acute Ward said, “Since winning the 2016 Business of the Year Award our team has received lots of positive feedback from the community. This has had a great effect, with our team incredibly proud of the quality of care we offer.”

Nominations close on Wednesday 12 April.

Submit your nomination online or collect a form from Council’s customer service centres in Gisborne, Romsey, Woodend and Kyneton.
